VERSE PASSAGE: Luke 2:36-38 “There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.” – NIV
This is amazing. This woman is very old in age and yet she was constantly there at the church worshiping and praising God. She continued to fast and pray to God. She would go up to people and give thanks to God and spoke to them about the Messiah.
No matter you age, no matter your race, no matter what is going on. Do not think you cannot be used by God. People think that because they are old God is done using them. But Anna was used by God. She fasted and prayed constantly. She constantly gave thank to God the Father and ministered to people about Christ Jesus.
Know that God is searching the earth for a willing vessel to be used by Him. Fast, pray, worship and praise Him. Serve Him with a willing heart and He will use you in mighty ways.
