It’s Coming

My, Devotion to Him #207

Verse Passage: Psalm 61:1 “Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.” – NIV

David was on the run from King Saul just like anyone of us would be, because this king was intent with a passion to find David and put an end to him. David had protection in a physical sense but he also knew that his real protection came from God and God alone. David cries out for the Lord and request for the Lord to hear his prayer.

With no way of knowing how or when God was going to deliver him from this king, David still exalted the Lord. In Psalm 63:4-5 David says “I will praise you as long as I live. With singing lips my mouth will praise you.”

It’s amazing to me to read this passage and then to look at another passage that is hundreds of years later where Paul and Silas were in a conundrum of their own. They were beaten and locked up. But! They broke out in praise and sang to the Lord. These men had endured so much and might have had the same uncertainty that David did. Yet they still had the same spirit of praise.

God delivered David from certain death and freed Paul and Silas. Your miracle is coming. So keep that spirit of praise and lift the Lord up.

Verse Passage: Psalm 86:8 “Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.” – NIV

There is no other God like ours! And He deserves all the praise and even more. Today let your faith sing and raise above your current circumstance or situation. The God of ALL is coming to deliver you!

He is coming! Wait! Be still! Your praying is getting answered, your deliverance is at hand.

God bless.
