There are times in our life that we’ve prayed for God to change a situation around in our life. There are times that we have believed firmly that God will change or is changing the situation. But how many times do we actually praise and thank Him for changing things around for us? Or how many times have we actually praised and thanked Him while we wait for the situation to change?
There’s power in praise and thanksgiving. If we praise God, we’ll be able to triumph over every single attack the devil could possibly throw our way.
Verse passage: Psalm 8:1-2 “Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.” – NIV
This passage confirms that statement. Satan is not going to just hang around and listen to you as you praise God. Praising God annoys Satan. Praising God grinds Satan’s gears. It puts the shut to the up. So put it to use.
Praise God that the trouble you are facing is on its way out the door. Praise God that your situation is being taken care of by Him. Praise God that your circumstance has been resolved in your favor because you are a child of the most High King. Praise God that your problem is gone. Praise Him for setting you free. Praise Him for the blood of Jesus Christ that paid the price for sin and sickness. A blood that went beyond that and rescued you from every curse and snare. Praise Him in the morning, on your way to work, at lunch, in the afternoon, on your way home, in the evening, before bed. Praise Him when you don’t feel like praising. Praise Him when you don’t have the energy to praise. Praise Him when your sick of praising. This is how you shake the world around you. This is how you break away from the chains. This is how you put your faith into action and unleash the awesome mighty power of the One True Living God!
God bless!
