Verse passage: Isaiah 1:19 “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” – NIV
God has always promised that if we are willing and obedient we would eat the good of the land. Being willing means more than just saying, “God if you want me to then I will.” Being willing means that you determine to receive by faith what God has promised, no matter how things look.
We have to learn to be aggressive. It seems like one trait that is a low priority and hardly shown in the Church is aggression. We think it’s bad. But the truth of the matter is that we need to get aggressive. We must take a stand. Don’t just say “Well, God promised me this so I receive it.” No! Get up and stand firm! “Heavenly Father, Your Word says that I will eat the good of this land. I stand on Your Word because it is the only Word that will never fail me. I stand faithfully on Your Word and promises. I receive the good in which You have already promised to me. I will not let this world side track me. I will not let any circumstance shake me. I will not let doubt into my life! Today I receive Your promise.”
Take a stand and don’t stop standing. God has already promised this to us. It is up to us if we take ahold of it or not. Get aggressive. Satan does not want you to have anything good in this life. The world does not want you to have anything good in this life. It is up to you to get aggressive and take hold of what has been promised to you by God Himself! He did not lie and His promises are not broken. So get aggressive and by faith take ahold of the promises that God has already said. Once you pray, stand on that that prayer. Don’t go back and remind God that you are still praying about it because you have not got it yet. No! Stand on your first prayer! Thank God for giving you the promises. It’s about time that we stop acting like people with no back bone. Stand up and grab the promises of God!
God bless
