VERSE PASSAGE: Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” – NIV
There has been many who have said “winning isn’t everything” and many people believe and hold that true to today. People want to give a trophy to everyone who loses just to keep feelings from getting hurt but we won’t go into that today. We will instead look at the spiritual side of winning. Winning in the spiritual realm means everything. God is the victor but many Christians don’t attest to that. Jesus won against sin and the devil by dying and resurrecting. Revelations stated that Jesus will bring the final blow to Satan when He comes back. God has already won. But many Christians are getting beat down and are losing. Why? Many fail to declare victory, fail to stand firm in God’s victory, fail to realize they are on the team that has already won.
If at anytime you were on a team that won you most likely felt joy, excitement, and that all your hard work paid off. Yet many Christians are walking around depressed, broken, and making it seem like the team they are on is losing.
It’s sad that many Christians today have not realized God has already won! When battles come against us we need to already know that this battle is won and done. Yes we may have to go through it but rest assured that the outcome is a continuation to the winning streak God has. God will never lose. Hold firm that your team will be never lose a single battle or war. We should have joy in everything we experience because the end result is God wins. We as Christians are on God’s team. This is a team that is unbeatable. The outcome is unstoppable. Satan and his demons will lose every single time. When we believe and hold firm that God is the victor in all things our life will be so much better.
God will not lose just because we act like we are losing. The end result is always going to be the same. God is going to win by Himself or with every single person that follows Him. Losing is not an option because God will never lose.
Battles and wars that we face are not waged to see which side wins. God has already won by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Battles and wars are for our own good and for the glory of God.
Let’s live this life by walking in total victory that God has already given us.
