Verse Passage: Deuteronomy 28:6 “You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.”
One thing I remember from my childhood was the dream board. My parents had put this board in place where they would see it often. It was filled with vacation places, cars, houses, etc. This dream board was a reminder of what they wanted. It reminded them they needed to stay focus. It told them to be content with a little now so you can have more later.
People are always talking about their dreams and wants but they never go for it. I had plenty of dreams and wants and I went for a lot of them and some I haven’t. But did you know that you can build dreams directly from God’s Word? This is where Deuteronomy chapter 28 comes into place.
God intended for you, me, and everyone else to be dreamers. He made us that way. He didn’t intend for us to be limited by what’s around us or the area we live in. God meant for us to dream beyond our situation! He wants you to dream beyond tomorrow or next week. Do not put your dream in a one month timeframe. Let you dreams grow and expand beyond limits.
Your dream will not make your current problems go away. But once you get that dream inside of you it will ignite something in you that will help push you out of your current problems or situation.
One of the great things to know is that God has a dream for you also. Gods dream is even bigger than any dream we could have. We need to get to a place and tap into His dream for us. When we get into God’s dream for us we start to change in a new way. When trouble comes up, when problems threaten to take you down remember His dream for you and it will stir up a resistance in that you didn’t know you had.
As we spend time with God through prayer, going to church, reading His Word we start making His dream and hope for us a reality.
The great thing about that is when something tries to get you down or hold you back you can snap back and say “Wait a minute! I will not be taken down because God says I am the head and not the tail. I am first and not last. I am a child of God and I am not stuck and I will not let this situation get me down! No weapon used against me can defeat me!”
His dreams for you will come to pass as you walk in Christ.
God bless!
